Beech Grove House

Doing collaboration differently is a career development session hosted by School of Sociology and Social Policy for early career academic related research staff in ESSL.

Ever wanted to have some time to think about how to develop strong, effective and inclusive research networks, with early career peers and others outside the academy, whilst still building an academic career and profile? If you have, then this session on doing collaboration differently is for you.

Speaking in this first session about the trials and tribulations of doing collaboration and surviving in an often unfriendly academy are:

  • Nirmal Puwar, Sociology, Goldsmiths College
  • Ian Cook, Human Geography, University of Exeter

Places are limited and registration is essential.

To register, contact Marie Johnson by email at m.b.johnson@leeds.ac.uk by 15 December 2008.

For further information, contact Shona Hunter by email at s.d.j.hunter@leeds.ac.uk.
