Absence Monitor

I am first point of contact for:

• Student absence
• Registers of attendance on compulsory UG modules, Foundation and MA modules
• Up to date student attendance files
• Records of action taken on student absence
• Advice on attendance monitoring procedures for all academic and support staff

My Job

I work 27 hours a week for 24 weeks a year. I keep the registers for the Level 1 and 2 compulsory modules, all Foundation modules and all MA modules, monitoring student absences. I am also responsible for sending out further action letters to students with poor attendance records on any other modules. I have direct contact with tutors and students regarding missed tutorials.
