Student Experience Manager

I am responsible for developing initiatives and ideas to enhance the experience of all our students during their time at Leeds.  Taking account of the various stages of a student’s ‘journey’, I have created a flexible and structured programme of support tailored to meet the differing needs of today’s students.
From pre-arrival to the first weeks at University; writing essays and developing students’ academic and study skills; through to leaving Leeds as an employable graduate, my aim is to provide the best possible experience for all the students in the School.
I work closely with academic staff and the students to provide and to ensure a high level of student support and guidance. Additional Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Module Manager: SLSP 1142 Study Skills for Social Sciences

  • Project Manager: ‘Employing You, Employing Me’ (TESS funded 2010/11)
  • Project Manager: Industrial Placement Development (TESS funded 2011/12)
  • Student Survey Responses Coordinator
  • Student Employability Coordinator
  • Peer Mentor Coordinator
