Abstract:

Thinking about using realist methods for your PhD or your MA dissertation?

Already using realist methods for your postgraduate studies?

This panel of postgraduate students at the University of Leeds will discuss and reflect on their experiences as users of realist methods. This event aims to support students currently dealing with the application of realist methods but also to clarify doubts and offer support to those considering embarking on realist projects in the near future. The panel will be chaired by Victoria Pattinson, PhD student in Sociology and Social Policy who used realist methods in her MA and is now using them in her PhD. The other panel member is Steven Markham, who used realist methods for his MA Dissertation.
