Turkish National Education and the Kurdish Question

Following on from my postgraduate dissertation, which examined creativity in the Turkish national educational system in relation to the national ideology of Kemalism, my PhD thesis aims at exploring how the ideology-driven national education affects the Kurdish Question in Turkey. It also seeks to understand the exclusion of the Kurdish students within the Turkish national education, which was specifically mentioned in my MA dissertation as a further research area that should be investigated. Ultimately, I hope to offer a solution to the Kurdish Question and suggest what should be done in the field of education which -I believe- has largely been ignored since the Kurdish Opening introduced in 2009 as part of solution process.
