Life course perspectives on experiences of and responses to leprosy-related stigma in Western Nigeria

Planned Submission Date: 30 September 2011

This research employs reflexive biographical narratives to interrogate experiences of living with leprosy.  It aims to increase understanding of the ways in which people affected by leprosy experience and respond to stigmatization across the life course.  Additionally, it seeks to bridge the knowledge gap by revealing salient interconnections between biographical events and general macro-social change - policy dynamics, institutional changes and relationships.
