Music is commonly seen as a transformative, emotionally expressive cultural form, with certain ‘types’ of music heavily gendered in terms of production and consumption. 


This research is seeking to explore the different ways in which subjectivities shape different uses of music.

I teach on Men, Masculinities and Identity in the second year
